We Wear Jeans

The Good Living Group wears jeans. We also wear suits. And, sometimes, it’s something in between. That is to say, we are a dynamic team of agents designed with the ability to assist a wide range of clients - from first time home buyers to those seeking a luxury property. We promise that we will work as long and as hard as necessary to sell or purchase your next home. We not only believe in assisting our clients, but also providing counsel about the process of buying or selling a home. Our goal is to leave you feeling empowered to make informed decisions right now and in the future.

The blue skies and friendly people of North Carolina are just a few of the many reasons why my family and I call this place home. My wife Colleen and I moved to the area from Ohio in 1999. We have raised our two kids, Eric and Lauren here and can’t help but fall in love with our town more and more every year. It is my hope to be able to help you begin your new journey. First stop, the perfect house.

I have been a Realtor since 2007 and have enjoyed working with a diverse group of wonderful clients that have helped me build the successful career that I enjoy today. I recently transitioned from leading a $90 million volume office to starting my own team, Good Living Group, at Allen Tate Realtors.

The Good Living Group is a team of dynamic real estate brokers who are founding members of the Allen Tate office in Apex. Our goal is to help residents of the Greater Raleigh area of North Carolina with all of their real estate needs. We will stand by your side before, during, and after the sale or purchase of your home. Our mission is to ease the burden of moving, leaving you more time to focus on “good living”.

Good Living...Great Life!

Like many of the other agents at Allen Tate, I have been around the Real Estate business my entire life. My Grandfather ran a successful Real Estate company in Binghamton, New York and my mother has been one of the most successful agents in the Triangle since the late 80’s.

I have always known this is what I wanted to do for a career. In 1996, not long after I graduated from the University of Texas I got my Real Estate license. I worked with my mother and gained incredibly valuable experience from one of the best.

My husband and I started a family and I put my career on hold for a few years. We have four beautiful kids that I am incredibly proud of. I promised myself that when all the kids were in school full time I would dive back in.

I have learned so much from being around the housing market my entire life. The thing I know most is that knowledge, kindness, work ethic, and respect are incredibly powerful combination. These are the things you can count on from me time after time. I know this market, will work extremely hard, and will treat people the way I know I like to be treated.

I am a native of Baltimore, Maryland but I was born to two southerners so I have always considered myself an honorary citizen of the South. I ventured north of home for college and graduated from Harvard University, class of…well…quite a few years ago. After that, I got here as quickly as I could.

Before I got into real estate I was a full-time mom so I know the ins and outs of family life here: schools, neighborhoods, shopping, even which DMV office is the fastest. While raising a family in west Cary I also started a career as a home stager, helping sellers showcase their home to ensure a quick sale at the best price. I now bring my staging experience to my listing clients, positioning their home to appeal to today’s buyers. For my buyers, I help them visualize living spaces so they know whether a property will fit their lifestyle.

As your real estate agent, it’s a privilege for me to help you find that special place you and your family will call home. I take seriously the trust you place in me and I will never compromise on serving you with honesty and integrity. At the same time, I try to never lose my sense of humor and perspective. Buying and selling can get stressful and I believe sometimes you just have to take a break, take a breath, and have a nice large glass of sweet tea (extra ice, no lemon).

I am a member of the Good Living Group in the Apex office. I began my real estate career in 2005 at Fonville Morisey and took a break from 2008-2013 when my son was young & enjoyed that special time with him. I found I missed my career and once he was in school I joined Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate/Go Realty and was a Silver Award Member. I am excited to be a part of Allen Tate and feel this company provides the support & materials needed for me to give stellar service to my clients! Prior to real estate, I worked for Continental Airlines as both a fight attendant, and in the training department-both training flight attendants & managing the new hire training department. Customer service and 'results' are my values that I bring to my clients. I have 3 children- 2 adult daughters and a son who plays rugby & soccer to keep us all busy! We are season ticket holders for the Carolina Hurricanes, and enjoy a good hockey game!

I would love to show you what makes this area special. I am a Certified Marketing, and Luxury Marketing Specialist, and am a strong, collaborative negotiator. I love my job & helping people transition is very rewarding.

Hey! Thank you for visiting my Allen Tate page. My name is Travis Hudson and I’m a Raleigh, North Carolina native. I'm humbled everyday by serving my peers with their real estate needs in the community I love and call home.

I graduated from Millbrook High school where I was an active percipient in sports and student government. I then attended East Carolina University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. My professional career began in the IT industry and for the next three years, I was able to develop new skills and apply what I learned in college.

With deep roots in the community, it's people, and a passion for service, Real Estate was a natural fit when the time came for a transition. I couldn't be happier with my decision and I'm thankful to be affiliated with a company with a track record of success and strong ties to the Carolina's.

I encourage you to try Allen Tate's "1st to Know feature" in the top right-hand corner of the page. Just select the features of the home you are looking for, and when a home that meets your criteria goes on the market, you'll receive an email alert. It's that simple!
